Bringing (Dis)Ability to the Bar and FreeBar are collaborating on an online discussion event on 9 February 2023 centring the experiences of disabled LGBTQ+ people across the legal profession. The event will speak to the particular overlaps between both identities in terms of how we navigate the world and are perceived, focusing particularly on the space for joy in our pluralistic approach to what are often politicised identities. The panel, chaired by Allison Hochhalter of BDABar, will include Maria Munir (BDABar), Oscar Davies (Lamb Chambers and FreeBar), Jody Klaire (FreeBar), Mark Henderson (Doughty Street Chambers) and Daniel Holt (Pupil at 39 Essex).
