We are seeking contributions from barristers and members of the judiciary, Inns, chambers and court staff, and allies.

The project aims to celebrate the diversity within the Bar and will comprise a collection of profiles, with photos and reflections on experiences of being LGBT+, or an ally, how the Bar has changed for the good, and advice for people working at/within the Bar or wishing to come to the Bar.

If you’re interest in getting involved, please email Alex Southern.

Please note that we may not be able to include all contributions, and may need to edit them, in consultation with you.

FreeBar would like to pay special thanks to Natalie Hearn, former Project Manager at Matrix Chambers and FreeBar champion, who has left London and the Bar to pursue a new career. Natalie has been instrumental in the organisation of FreeBar since its founding, dedicating countless hours to the cause, arranging events and spearheading the development of our new website. We wish Natalie all the best in her new career and look forward to seeing her at our events in the future.
